My hair is very fine, thin, and there isn't much of it. It tangles easy and is frizzy, and all

its also slightly wavy, and I have it very very long. I was wondering how can i get it nice and straight plus sits nicely with no frizz. I use a straightner but in like 30 minutes its frizzy. plus the heat does too much damage to my fine hair.

My hair is very fine, thin, and there isn't much of it. It tangles easy and is frizzy, and all over the place

Though there are many causes of of frizz, it occurs when the hair's cuticle (it's outermost level) becomes "roughed up". Normally, the hair's cuticle is smooth. A smooth cuticle will appear shiny and leave hair tangle-free. When the cuticle layers are roughed up, the strand becomes dull, prone to tangles, and creates the dreaded condition known as frizz.

Frizz can be prevented simply by using the proper shampoos and conditioners. Most hair problems can be remedied by switching to the right products. Shampoos work by opening up the cuticle layers, releasing dirt and residue caused by pollution, and build-up caused by styling products. For the cuticle to be opened, a product must have a basic pH (by basic, I'm referring to the opposite of acidic. If it's not an acid, it's a base. You remember that from science class, don't you? Of course you do...). Conditioners work by re-sealing the cuticle, and should have an acidic pH. Many store-bought products have a pH that is too harsh for many hair types. If you must use store-bought, look for shampoos that claim to be "hydrating", these products will help hair maintain a healthy moisture balance. Try to avoid over-shampooing, as this will contribute to making hair dry and over-stressed. By shampooing every other day, and using a good, professional conditioner as needed, you'll be on your way to shiny, healthy, beautiful hair.

Humidity is also prone to make hair do strange things. Your hair is very sensitive to moisture. You may have noticed how youre hair appears frizzy on humid days. This is because your hair (which is dry and in need of moisture), becomes "thirsty", and it will try to absorb the water molecules in the air.

Another way to avoid frizzy hair is to let your hair air-dry as much as possible. Heat damage is a major cause of frizz. Never, ever, blow the hair completely dry, and when it comees to choosing a blow dryer, more power does not equal better results. 1600 watts is plenty! In the salon, we use the blow-dryer to remove about 90% of the moisture, leaving the ends (which are sensitive) slightly damp. On hair that is likely to frizz, I recommend using a large-barrel curling iron or straightening iron to smooth out the hair. By smoothing hair that is slightly damp with a large iron, it becomes similar to the way an iron removes wrinkles from clothing.

Whether you air dry, blow-dry, or curl your hair, the benefits of using a smoothing serum can never be overstated. There are many products out there to smooth frizz, and they come in many forms, such as liquids, gels, waxes, pomades, and creams. Smoothing serums, which look like clear, syrupy drops, usually contain silicone, which smoothes the cuticle and gives tremendous shine. The downside is that using too much product at a time can make hair look and feel greasy. A few drops will be enough for even the longest, thickest hair. I prefer products in a gel form, since most people have a good idea on how much product to use. My favorite is a product by Graham Webb called Stick Straight. It was developed to temporarily remove curl from the hair, but I find it works wonders on long straight hair, men's hair, and ethnic hair types. I apply a small amount to damp hair, then blow it dry. After curling, I emulsify a small amount of dressing wax by vigorously rubbing it in the palm of my hands. Then i smooth down any fly-aways or frizz. Instead of wax, you can use a grooming cream or liquid smoothing serum. My preference for a wax is a pomade called Hair Play by KMS. Another good wax is Back-to-Basic's Green Tea Dressing Wax. For those of you who prefer drops, try Glass by Redken. By smoothing the hair in the fashion I have just described, you can attain that stick straight sleek look, as worn by celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston, Selma Hayek, and Cher.

For those people blessed with curls, apply a frizz-control gel evenly through damp hair and leave air-dry or blow-dry with a diffuser attachment. A good gel to use is Control Freak by TIGI. It also has a great smell to it, as most of their products do.

Keep in mind that hair should be trimmed every six to eight weeks to remove dead ends. While split ends, technically known as trichoptilosis, differ from frizz, they can also make otherwise nice hair appear fuzzy, dull, and lifeless.

My hair is very fine, thin, and there isn't much of it. It tangles easy and is frizzy, and all over the place

I would recommend getting your hair cut. My friend, whose hair is very fine and a little wavy, just got face-framing medium- length layers- she's never looked better!

My hair is very fine, thin, and there isn't much of it. It tangles easy and is frizzy, and all over the place

I have very fine thin hair and I have to keep it about shoulder length with a few layers. I am not so lucky to have the waves. Try using the frizz free products but I'd keep the waves. Bet they are beautiful.

Ok,you can do lots of things to help this! You can get your hair cut,use Garnier Shampoos%26amp; hairstyling products. Their Smoothing Milk is for frizzy hair. You can also use a dryer sheet! Try some serum for your hair before you straighten it too! It helps reduce the damage of using your straightner! Hope this helps!

My hair is wavy-curly, thin, and frizzy. I was thinking of getting a tight curl perm?

to make it look better without using so much product in my hair.

Advice?

My hair is wavy-curly, thin, and frizzy. I was thinking of getting a tight curl perm?

I gotta say, i think its a bad idea. Once it stops working it will leave your hair frizzier and more dried out than before. Maybe try just using a little less product? You could try also putting your hair in french braids before you go to sleep and the next day take them out and your hair will be nice soft waves. Also, you could try flat ironing your hair once and awhile, but not too often. I just advise agaisnt the perm. Especially tight curl.

My hair is wavy-curly, thin, and frizzy. I was thinking of getting a tight curl perm?

You will look like a poodle.

My hair is wavy-curly, thin, and frizzy. I was thinking of getting a tight curl perm?

I got one of those before, and I have the exact same hair type.

My suggestion to you- DON'T DO IT. It was awful for me, and I hated it.

My hair is wavy-curly, thin, and frizzy. I was thinking of getting a tight curl perm?

i think that would look cute

My hair is wavy-curly, thin, and frizzy. I was thinking of getting a tight curl perm?

do not do it. perms went out in the 80's. you will fry your little hairs and look like a poodle.

My hair is wavy-curly, thin, and frizzy. I was thinking of getting a tight curl perm?

NOoooo... please don't get a tight curl perm! You will probably regret it unless you have had one and know what its like. Get a straightening iron and use Redken "sleek look." It will make all the difference.

My hair is wavy-curly, thin, and frizzy. I was thinking of getting a tight curl perm?

Hi,

You don't have to have a perm to just cure it, because if you do get a perm, theres chance of losing so much hair because it's thin. Mines exactly the same style! Honestly and it's a pain in the bum isn't it?! =D What i do is, when blow drying, i use serum to keep down the frizz and make it smooth and soft, blow dry downwards with a bristle brush, then section it by sections to straighten and it's dead soft with 'bit of hairspray on top to keep the extra frizzness down, then it's done! Try and not play with it alot as it can make it go static! good luck!

My hair is wavy-curly, thin, and frizzy. I was thinking of getting a tight curl perm?

That sounds like a hot mess. I would get a good haircut and then I would buy a straightening serum like (Extreme shine) and you put that on while its wet and then take a brush and blow dry it as straight as you can and then flat iron it. There was a woman who had a similar problem as you on the show "What not to Wear" and this is what they did for her. She was using straightening chemicals on her hair and the stylist told her that she was damaging her hair.

My hair is starting to thin out..?

I use to have really thick hair and ever since I dyed it it has been thining out is it just cause I dyed it or could it be something else?

My hair is starting to thin out..?

Get a few inches cut off, not too much and take Kelp (natural seaweed) to help restore the damage

My hair is starting to thin out..?

if you started using a new shampoo or product, stop. and cut off the ends, you might have split ends that are breaking your hair.

if you bleached it, that oculd be why, but don't worry it'll only do that for a few days at most.

My hair is very very very very very very thin.?

it also comes out easily. i have tried several products and done those"self cure" things, and nothings working. i also have very bad split ends, but am afraid to cut it off, because i cut 2 inches off a couple years ago and its just starting to grow back. its so thin that when i pull it back it looks like a thin like is around my head. also, very sparse hair grows for an inch above the ears instead of hair the thickness of the rest of it. any advice??

My hair is very very very very very very thin.?

My hair is very very very very very very thin.?

I am a stylist and can honestly tell you, the longer you leave split ends the worse and thinner your hair is going to be. Split ends are essentially dead hair and can NOT be repaired, which is why they have to be cut off. If they are not cut, the breakage will go further up the hair strand until ALL of your hair is gone...dead and you'll be sporting a brand new crop of hair sprouts. PLEASE trim the spit ends before more breakage occurs. The way you described your hair when pulled back, your hair is probably also breaking from traction alopecia, which is hair loss due to the constant pulling into tight buns, ponytails, braids, etc. Let your hair rest a while, after your split ends are cut, I recommend a scalp treatment, to stimulate your scalp and hair follicles so that the regrowth is nice and healthy. Hey, wigs, scarves and caps aren't bad choices when letting hair relax a bit - they're quite fun. No braids or weaves though, at least for now. You'll soon notice how much faster and thicker your hair begins to grow once your hair and scalp are healthy. Hope this helps!

My hair is super thin and i need a good hairstyle?

i have sidebangs and that is about it, but i need a way to style my hair, it naturally dries a little wavy at the ends sticking out in weird areas. what should i do!?!?!??! not time consuming please

My hair is super thin and i need a good hairstyle?

lol my friend has WICKED thin hair. I have side bangs. What I like to do is after a shower, comb out my hair and let it dry down for 10 minutes or so. Then I like to put it in a pony tail with the bangs put back in a bobby pin. In the morning, I flat iron my bangs and part my hair to the side. My bangs are on the left, so I part my hair to the right. Yours might be vise versa. Good Luck!!!!

My hair is super thin and i need a good hairstyle?

do you care if your hair is a little emo-ish looking?

most emo styles look great with thin hair, that's what i have and i did a style that seemed emo-ish, but it ended up looking great. and if your hair is fairly straight, its a really low-maintenance haircut.

Are there any ways to help regrow thinning hair?

I am currently 19 and have very thin hair. I use to dye my hair about once every two - four months starting when I was about 13. I stopped coloring my hair so often and cut down to twice a year when I was 16. I started to notice the hair thinning when I was about 16-17. Hair thinning does occur in the family, like my mother has thin hair, and her mother has thin hair, but my mother's isn't as thin as mine. I don't lose hair, it just the hair that's lost doesn't grow back. I have not colored my hair in the last year. What are some products that are good for thinning hair? I've heard about rogaine, but I'm iffy about trying it.

Are there any ways to help regrow thinning hair?

Nioxin is a great product for thickening hair and for hair growth. You can find it at salons and also beauty supply stores like beauty express or beauty brands.

Are there any ways to help regrow thinning hair?

hmm i dont think dye ur hair makes u lose hair.... u prob lack some kind of element or vitamin, and dont worry sweetie, there re lots of treatment for hair regrow or help hair growing. u can go to any salon and ask for volume shampoon, etc. To the worst, you can get hair implant.

Are there any ways to help regrow thinning hair?

Hair thinning can be broadly divided into 4 main causes 閳?hereditary, nutritional status, some underlying ailment or due to therapeutic procedures.

I have problem with my hair , its too thin and short , what i have to do , please help me?

there is a couple of redken products i would suggest the redken "guts" is a good spray mousse that thickens while it lifts another really good one is redken "body full" spray to use while styling, i went to hair school and while working on people with short thin hair i almost always used those and they liked it so much they would buy it.

I have problem with my hair , its too thin and short , what i have to do , please help me?

What is the best way to get your hair to grow? My hair is fine and thin and breaks off..?

I don't use curling irons and rarely use a hair dryer. I am vegetarian, but take vitamins a-z plus silica for hair growth.

Please no inmature answers. I'm asking for help, not for someone who "thinks they are a comedian". I can turn on the tv for that.

What is the best way to get your hair to grow? My hair is fine and thin and breaks off..?

Ok. here is the truth. A balanced diet, plenty of water and prenatal vitamins. I have lost a 100 pounds recently, and while I am not telling you to loose weight or anything crzy i am saying that I have changed my diet with fruits, vegetables, and protien is important. You might need more. Drink alot of water, that is what your body needs. Also, I brought some prenatal vitamins at walmart, and I had a pixie cut, and now it is to my shoulders, and it didn't take all that long. Prenatals won't make you sick, either, they are actually really good for you, he label says take even if you want to get pregnant, which proves that you will be find. ( THEY WON"T MAKE YOU MORE FERTILE) some people have actually said that, so silly. GOod luck

What is the best way to get your hair to grow? My hair is fine and thin and breaks off..?

go into the beauty store and ask someone that works there.. and if you see the hair products from "Doo Grow" buy their shampoo, conditioner, hair grease, etc.. and just be consistent with it.

What is the best way to get your hair to grow? My hair is fine and thin and breaks off..?

This works I swear by it. Drink a lot of grape juice and eat a lot of grapes. I read that there is a enzyme in grapes that is good for hair. I tried it and it worked great. Eggs are also good nutrition for your hair. You said you were a vegetarian but I wasn't sure if you ate eggs or not.

What is the best way to get your hair to grow? My hair is fine and thin and breaks off..?

try buying a hair mask nd try getting a trim every 2-3 months to keep from geting more split ends but while you're waiting try extensions.

What is the best way to get your hair to grow? My hair is fine and thin and breaks off..?

make sure to get regular trims so that you dont have to cut off more than you need to. use a good shampoo and conditoner, try a sulfate free kind, sulfate can be really harsh on fine thin hair. sulfate is found in most shampoos, its used to lather and clean the hair, but it can really strip your hair and dry it out.i just switched to one and my hair feels a lot better.(its called L'anza healing moisture) do a deep conditioning mask once a week (but get a good brand from a salon, like joico's K-pak). its good you dont use heat on it often, that really helps, so do the vitamines. the main thing is cuts and shampoo's. most people think their shampoo is helping them when it's really hurting them more.

i would suggest a hair oil that helpedmy friend who was losing her hair you get it at a indian store. her hair was falling out due to her illness In a month or two your hair problem will come down and will start growing. erm, try going to the hairdressers, they can "thin" the hair, i think thats the very technical term o.O

it consists of them running scissors through your hair, it gets rid of alot of the weight and makes it feel alot nicer. just go and describe what you want to a stylist, theyll deffo know what you want and what to do

I think that it's just split ends. make an appointment at the Hairdressers and have about an inch cut of. Then ask your hairdresser what is best to use. Wash it regularly but NOT everyday. Also let your hair dry naturally. Blow drying and straightnening can damage your hair especcially if you do it after the other. So refrain from doing so.

You don't mention if you have other problems, like with your skin or level of energy. I believe you should see a doctor specializing in endrocrinology. It sounds as if your hormones aren't acting right. You may just need different vitamins or minerals but why take a chance. The hair might be a symptom of something inside that needs to be fixed.

well of course the first thang you need to do is get a volumizing shampoo and conditioner and make sure when you condition your hair to put the conditioner in your hair to use a wide tooth comb and comb the con. through your hair. it makes it super smooth and help to detangle (just make sure you dont squeeze the excess water out before you apply the con). and dont try to scrub your hair dry with a towel...to help with volume after you comb your hair out flip your hair over upside down and twist it up (gently) and use a hair claw to pin it on top of your head. after you get dressed let your hair fall free and you should have some amazing body!

Thin hair should never be layered. It makes your already thin hair look even thinner. The ONLY time thin hair would need layering to look better, is if you had a head of curls. Then cutting those in layers would free the curls to act independently, with flippy curls all the way down your hair.

Instead, I would recommend a chin length bob. Maybe one of the styles that snug up tight at the nape of the neck, then have longer flippy bits at the sides of the face. When you have your hair cut in a style that MOVES nicely, nobody notices that it's thin. Something like this:

Layers will be good on your hair type. Use nexus sampoo for thin hair, it'll work, its espensive though.

What are the best kind of haircuts for thin shoulder lenght hair?

if you hair is thin, then definalty go get some major layers through it, mabey even some funky bangs. I recommend PPS shampoo and conditioner and if you can get the deep treatment as well and put it once a week, with that also once you have dried you hair, smooth in some product to stop it getting messy i recommend BEDHAIR products, get one to suit the style (ask your hairdresser to recommend the best product for you)

What are the best kind of haircuts for thin shoulder lenght hair?

My friend just got the most awesome hair cut, it is kinda like a bob, but wavy on the end; adds fullness. Find hair cuts in mags, that you like, and then perhaps take the pics to a good stylist. They will help you find something that not only do you like but that would be ideal for your hair type.

What are the best kind of haircuts for thin shoulder lenght hair?

I say get some layers, it makes it a little thicker and takes its own shape

What are the best kind of haircuts for thin shoulder lenght hair?

layers are good for thin hair. use a good product and blowdry upside down.

What are the best kind of haircuts for thin shoulder lenght hair?

get the kids shampoo and conditioner if i was you i would put the shampoo in than after i do that i would put the conditioner and lat it sit for like 10 min than take it out than blowdry than cut the back of your hair of in the on the top of your hair you will have to cut a little bit of like above your earthan on the right side than cut it untile it stop in the middle of you ear

What are the best kind of haircuts for thin shoulder lenght hair?

I would recomend layered hair, with either a side part on the right side, or middle part. and both would look good with bangs on one side. good luck!

OMG I'm getting thin pieces of hair above my lips, I'm turning into a man what do I do?

I don't want razor bumps? I'm in my early 20's , I don't smoke. How did this happen?

OMG I'm getting thin pieces of hair above my lips, I'm turning into a man what do I do?

Just wax it off, like everyone else

OMG I'm getting thin pieces of hair above my lips, I'm turning into a man what do I do?

You are not turning into a man. DON'T shave and DON'T pluck. Bleach, wax or go get electrolisis.

OMG I'm getting thin pieces of hair above my lips, I'm turning into a man what do I do?

everyone gets it if you are that paranoid just wax it off.

OMG I'm getting thin pieces of hair above my lips, I'm turning into a man what do I do?

oh dont worry! its normal for some women to have hair above their lips, i do! dont shave wat ever u do as it will grow back as stubble. u can either bleach it , which i do and it works fine, or you can get it waxed which isnt my preferred option for no reason at all, i just feel it might grow back stubbly! other than that im sure other people dont even notice it. we notice little things about ourselves all the time and other people will never see it no matter how close! u have t look for the thing to see it! dont worry its perfectly normal!

OMG I'm getting thin pieces of hair above my lips, I'm turning into a man what do I do?

bleach, wax, pluck, dermabrassion, electrolysis. You may have something wrong with your hormones, or it may just run in the family. Don't be scared.A lot of women have this issue when they reach their early to mid twenties.

OMG I'm getting thin pieces of hair above my lips, I'm turning into a man what do I do?

Use a tweezer, thats what i do.

OMG I'm getting thin pieces of hair above my lips, I'm turning into a man what do I do?

Don't worry, there is loads of us out there that have this problem. don't pluck it and definitely don't shave it, but you can buy waxing strips from your local chemist and wax it off, or even if you can afford you can have laser hair treatment done, you have a few sessions and the hair can disappear for a few years, smoking doesn't cause this its just how you are, it nothing to worry about. If you a in the UK go to superdrug and there is something called wax away wand which is similar to the spot stick you can get, just use the thin applicator to apply the wax and then use the paper strips to pull it off, follow the instructions, its a piece of cake

OMG I'm getting thin pieces of hair above my lips, I'm turning into a man what do I do?

Don't panic, many ladies get a little facial hair mainly due to hormonal problems. Do NOT shave or pluck, this will only increase the problem causing the hairs to grow back courser, thicker and possible darker. Are you on the contraceptive pill? Many pills can cause facial hair and this should subside after coming off them. 1 in 10 women within there child bearing years will get (PCOS) polycystic ovarian sydrome, affecting hormone levels and one of the side effects is superflous hair. If the problem is bad or gets worse go and see your doctor. For treatment of the hair you could bleach the hair or if you want it removed, I would recommend electrolysis or laser hair removal. Stress, medications, menopause, pregnancy, shaving, rubbing, UV light can all be factors which affect hair growth. I would advise treating the hair growth while it's there and not worrying about when its gone.

OMG I'm getting thin pieces of hair above my lips, I'm turning into a man what do I do?

It is not abnormal for a woman to have some facial hair, especially on the upper lip. However, if it is really thick or widespread it could be a hormonal disorder. I would not worry about it as you say it is "thin". Right, wax it off...no biggie or just leave it alone. There are all ranges of what is normal. Just because a woman has some facial hair does not mean she is less feminine. It is our culture that dictates being hairless is desirable.

What is a good hair vitimin? My hair grows really slow and my hair is fairly thin.?

I want thicker, longer, and healthier hair.

What is a good hair vitimin? My hair grows really slow and my hair is fairly thin.?

Drink milk. it makes your hair more healthy and it's not expensive. you just have to wait for it to grow longer, but to help it, you can trim the bottom of your hair every two weeks and use the right shampoos. I like sunsilk because it works for me, but you have to experiment a little until you can find the one that works best for you.

What is a good hair vitimin? My hair grows really slow and my hair is fairly thin.?

There is no vitamin or pill to magically make it grow

good nutrition and good care of your hair is the only way.

If your hair is naturally thin all you can do is use thickening products, but they only make it feel thicker, they don't make it thicker

What is a good hair vitimin? My hair grows really slow and my hair is fairly thin.?

I have heard that zinc is good for hair growth, but i can't make any guarantees.

I've heard mixing honey in with shampoo once a month strengthens and smooths hair. Sometimes I use Pantene Pro-V Intensive Moisturizing Mask, which works really well. You can find that at CVS and Target.

should I get a hair peice to cover up my nearly bald spot?Should I just color my hair?Or should I just let it go and grow old gracefully?I had my picture taken next to aunt on Christmas, she is 77 years old,and we look sisters.Yes it is my mothers sister and I look alot like my mom,but that's kind of scary don't you think? My sister gave me a blonde wig,but it is not my natural color, and I don't know if I can get used to it.

i love the combs that have small hair pieces attached. they are small and inexpensive and easy to find at drug stores. i am 44 and still color my hair. i think you should do what makes you feel good about yourself. it is all about what's inside of you that makes you special anyway not the outside. leesa

Both men and women :What do you think I should do?I am turning 51 in 2 weeks,my hair is very thin and gray,?

NOT A WIG just color it

Both men and women :What do you think I should do?I am turning 51 in 2 weeks,my hair is very thin and gray,?

have FUN! get a hair weave and tell everyone that its a hair weave. let everyone see you without it too. laff about it out loud and even ask your friends to help pick out styles.

when the weave falls out, it'll be of intrest to everyone.

hair can be part of fashion if you let yourself have fun with it.

Both men and women :What do you think I should do?I am turning 51 in 2 weeks,my hair is very thin and gray,?

I wouldn't wear the wig, i would color it, but get a color that isn't permanent, that way if you don't like it, it won't last too long. Good luck!

Both men and women :What do you think I should do?I am turning 51 in 2 weeks,my hair is very thin and gray,?

let it go. you're getting older, and the truth is, your hair is going to thin. so just let life take it's course. because ultimately, you're just damaging your hair more if you color it.

Both men and women :What do you think I should do?I am turning 51 in 2 weeks,my hair is very thin and gray,?

Would you be willing to try topical rogaine for your thinning hair? I understand how you feel. You are a relatively young woman and I'd want to combat it just as much as you do. Should you decide on a wig or hair piece, I'd recommend getting fitted by a professional and have one made specifically for you. It will be expensive, but the results are worth it.

Both men and women :What do you think I should do?I am turning 51 in 2 weeks,my hair is very thin and gray,?

i advice u to drop all the hair dye crap. dont use any chemicals on it it will only make it worse. i advice u to use natural hair products to dye it such as henna. henna comes in 2 colors. red and blak. if u mixed both colors togeda it will b brown. beware of false henna. sometimes merchants add some chemicals and lowers the amount of the natural product cuz its cheaper to him . so b sure to buy it from a hair salon that u trust.

Both men and women :What do you think I should do?I am turning 51 in 2 weeks,my hair is very thin and gray,?

how about having it cut pretty short, Judi Dench style? It could look really modern and the shortness will make it appear thicker.

Both men and women :What do you think I should do?I am turning 51 in 2 weeks,my hair is very thin and gray,?

i would get a hair weave, but maybe just be really bold and get it buzzed. i mean alot girls are doing it these days. it might grow back alot better. my moms did.

My hair is EXTREMELY thick! I hate it! How do I thin it out? Can I make it not grow so fast?

My hair is not really thick, I just have alot of them clustered in one place. Can I slow down how fast they grow and thin out the thick areas BESIDES going to a barber? Thanks!

My hair is EXTREMELY thick! I hate it! How do I thin it out? Can I make it not grow so fast?

You can't slow down the growth of your hair but you can go to a salon and have the stylist thin it out by taking some of the "Bulk" out...it makes the hair lay more flat and gives it great texture...

My hair is EXTREMELY thick! I hate it! How do I thin it out? Can I make it not grow so fast?

My hair is EXTREMELY thick! I hate it! How do I thin it out? Can I make it not grow so fast?

go to a hair stylist and ask to get your hair trimmed with thinning shears. You can also get ur hair layered. (going to the barber is the main way ur gonna thin out ur hair- what is the issue w/ u not wanting to go to the barber, exactly?)

Also, use products designed to keep ur hair down, such as:

-Biolage Ultra-Hydrating Shampoo/Conditioner

-Biosilk

-Frizz Ease Downplay

My hair is EXTREMELY thick! I hate it! How do I thin it out? Can I make it not grow so fast?

i wish i had your problem!!

My hair is EXTREMELY thick! I hate it! How do I thin it out? Can I make it not grow so fast?

no one likes there hair people with thin hair want think hair, people with curly hair want straight hair. if you keep messing with it, it will all fall out and you will have no hair.

My hair is EXTREMELY thick! I hate it! How do I thin it out? Can I make it not grow so fast?

Use shampoos/conditioners that say they'll make hair smoother like Garnier Fructis sleek and shine. It'll make thick hair more manageable.

When you do go to the barber ask if they can use thinning shears to take the bulk out.

Maybe you need to consider a different haircut.

My hair is straight & thin, why does it take so long to dry it ? Thanks?

It might be the shampoo that your using is causing your hair to retain the moisture which is making it take soo long to dry.

The longer your hair is the longer it takes to dry.

sweetie, moo moo is right, it is likely a good cut but you are in shock! do as she suggests and look for a couple of cute styles to help you adjust to the new shorter hair style!

in the meantime, my daddy always said,

the only difference between a good haircut and a bad one is about four weeks!

so sweetie you are already half way through that time frame! good luck and try to keep some perspective about it all!

I can't deal with a haircut I got 2 weeks ago. She razored my hair, to thin it out, it seems a mess, help!!!

Well how short is your hair? Can you make it into pigtails or something? Try and look for cute styles that will work with your hair!!! If it is still long enough, why don't you try getting another haircute again and try and get a better style maybe. But maybe if you give your new haircut a chance, you may like it! good luck!

I can't deal with a haircut I got 2 weeks ago. She razored my hair, to thin it out, it seems a mess, help!!!

I had the same thing done about two years ago. I HATED it! My hairdresser told me since i have thick hair, that it would be great for me. I spent the next 3 days with all the hair she razored out falling all over the place. The best thing you can do for now is brush you hair 2 or 3 times a day ( it helps it grow out faster) and for now i'd say keep it up in a ponytail as much as you can. Maybe in a month or so you can go to a different stylist and have them try and fix it.

I need a hairstyle for my fine, thin medium long hair.?

You just described my hair. I have side-swept bangs, and the front and back of my hair is gently layered. I blow dry my hair up and out (except for the bangs) and it gives me tons of body and wave.

I have black hair, want to put thin red, blonde, and light brown highlights all over. is this a good i

Im not sure if this wil suit me and i have a big wedding coming up so i want my hair to look really good. My Skin color is a tanned brown color and i have dark brown eyes. Can someone please tell me if this will look good or not or if anyone can find pictures for me of what this will look like that will be greatly appreciated !! Please help asap !!

I have black hair, want to put thin red, blonde, and light brown highlights all over. is this a good idea?

You do realize that she did just say she was contemplating highlights, right? No where in her question did she say she would dye her all of her hair! I think that you should also take into consideration the amount of time you have before the wedding. You don't want it to be less than two weeks away because if you don't end up liking it, you'll pretty much be screwed. I think to be on the safe side, you should start more subtle and slightly increase the highlights to your liking. If the wedding is more than a couple weeks away, you at least have a chance to let the highlights fade a little or have them redone. Good luck and have fun at the wedding!

I have black hair, want to put thin red, blonde, and light brown highlights all over. is this a good idea?

I think you would look good with red hair. But dying yourhair might not be the best thing to do. I hope you realize that in like a few weeks your gonna have to dye it again, other wise your hair is gonna look really weird with the top of your head balck, and the bottom half red or blonde. You realize that right?

I have black hair, want to put thin red, blonde, and light brown highlights all over. is this a good idea?

Nope, the colour may look great, but going from black to blonde is chemically impossible...that is too many levels for the de-colourizor to lift. Trust me I have tried 1000 times...Your hair will break off and break apart, and will comb apart, etc. Not worth it. Unless you have Asian hair, my little sis is 1/ 2 Vietnamese and I can bleach the **** out of her hair...and it keeps on kicking...But use caution with de-colourizor and thicker hair, everyone has different hair..

I have black hair, want to put thin red, blonde, and light brown highlights all over. is this a good idea?

NO. DO NOT DO IT. I have black hair too, and I once made the mistake of adding more than one color and it looked like a mess. The most is to add one color, maybe brown or red, and maybe different shades of it as highlights. Do NOT dye your whole head because it will look artificial and gross.

I have black hair, want to put thin red, blonde, and light brown highlights all over. is this a good idea?

no going all those diffrent colors from black may not look all that grate ill send u apic of my mom but ill need ur email e mail me @

shlbypretty@yahoo.com

I have black hair, want to put thin red, blonde, and light brown highlights all over. is this a good idea?

my friend originally has black hair. then she wanted to dye is light brown. the next day when i saw her, it was still pretty dark. =/

I have black hair, want to put thin red, blonde, and light brown highlights all over. is this a good idea?

I dont think that would look that great first of all no one has hair that color and it would look totally unnatural . Plus every girl on her wedding days wants to look like a natural beauty plus it looks realy tacky.

Hair loss and thinning hair?

I am 24 years old hair thinning at the top ( 3inches by 3.5 inches). The hair on top of my head is very thin now, and u can almost see through to my scalp.

i have no idea i was balding until last week i went to have my hair cut he told me i was balding.

how can i reverse this any products to regrow hair

i heard some products i have to use life time to have my hair

how effective is hair implants and cost is there any side effects

it cant be hereditary because my elder brother 27 yrs he has full hair.

finally why men lose hair in the front both sides like a v shape

example http://www.imdb.com/gallery/ss/0112864/S...

can a person grow hair again in this area by implants

Hair loss and thinning hair?

dont fight it

Hair loss and thinning hair?

Just because your brother doesn't have thinning hair doesn't mean you won't. You have to look to your mothers side and only your mothers side of the family. If anyone on her side of the family has thinning hair, chances are you will too.

I'm not sure about products or implants or things like that but you can definitely try it out. Maybe you should talk to a doctor or a dermatologist and he/she can recomment something for you. Make sure you research completely before you settle on a decision.

Hair loss and thinning hair?

actually i have the same situation as u, and its going to drop off everything. I have no money to go for hair implanting centre. But its still lucky for me enough for me though. I got a shampoo made from chinese medicine and it really works well. 2nd time using it stops the hair from dropping.. If u r interested of the product maybe u can email me.... good luck

Hair loss and thinning hair?

I have a friend who has the same problem. I think you need to see a doctor.

Hair loss and thinning hair?

Just because your brother has hair doesn't mean you will. It is heredity. You can't reverse it...just deal with it. The best way to disguise hair loss is to keep it short. Buzzed in the back where it is full and leave the top longer. You can take Gelatin tablets to keep what you have healthy. Keep your fingers crossed that you have a nice shaped head so that when it's time to shave it all off you will still look good.

Hair loss and thinning hair?

I'm a woman and my hair is thin on top too. I have tried different shampoos and conditioners but they haven't done a durn bit of good and they are very expensive. About the only thing I found that worked was Rogaine and yes, if you decide to go that route (and if it works for you), it is a 2 x's a day process for the rest of your life. Once you stop using it, you will lose any hair re-growth.

As far as hair plugs, unless they have made major improvements recently, I think they really look bad! Like a favorite character of mine said "looks like they're doing crop rotation on their head!". Good luck with your research. I know how hard it is not to have a full head of hair, anymore!

Hair loss and thinning hair?

It is possible that you have alopecia. I don't think that you're old enough to be balding due to age already. Try to stay calm but see your doctor!

OR hair shedding could be caused by the discontinuation of hormonal estrogen and progesterone therapies for birth control or may be associated with the end of pregnancy.

Hair loss and thinning hair?

Heredity spans through generations you know? Those men with v-shaped front inherit them. I've seen some women too; I've also seen younger poeple living with this condition but the best thing to do is accept to leave with, love and manage what we cant change; like wearing a face cap or shaving your hair you can even create your style afterall, there is a school of thought that says that bald headed men are very romantic.

But try roots stimulating shampoo by Organics, then apply soft'n'free hair grow every day you'll see results before one bottle runs out. visit www.mmproducts.com. its very effective but cheap. Goodluck!

Hair loss and thinning hair?

About 50 to 100 milligrams a day of vitamin B6 taken for one or two months helps decrease hair fall. A medicine rich in sulfur is also recommended as sulfur plays an important part in the structure of the hair. Check out

First, I find it interesting that in your picture, it appears that you have a thick head of hair. Fake picture or are you talking for a friend?

Anyhow, I would go with just leaving it the way it is. Eventually, if it gets too bad THEN shave your head. I know personally I don't like a bald guy.. so yeah.. I would much rather have a guy with SOME hair than NO hair at all.

I think my hair is starting to thin out...?

Whatever you do, don't start wearing a hat! It'll make your hair thin out faster.

I think my hair is starting to thin out...?

A shaved head can be sexy for a man loosing his hair. Wear it with confidence and it will definitely be accepted. If you wish, you can shave it low on the back and sides so that it would be neat and still very attractive. However, you should never attempt a skullet, comb over or skullet/bandana combination it is not sexy or attractive at all. The confidence with accepting that your hair is thinning out will shine through and people will actually respect that and you will most certainly feel better about yourself.

Work it like as it is and watch Paris Hilton tell you "that's hot!!!" :-)

I think my hair is starting to thin out...?

massage with wheatgerm oil

I think my hair is starting to thin out...?

Ensure that you eat nutritious food, with plenty of leafy vegetables. Have a soya milk drink and multivitamin tablets if you do not have time to have a healthy breakfast.Apply the white of a raw egg on the hair for 30 minutes, and then wash it off with a shampoo. A mixture of lemon juice and egg white and oil massage could also be used to strengthen the roots of hair. More remedies at http://hairthinning.org/ will prevent further problems.

I think my hair is starting to thin out...?

Just leave it the way it is,but if it thins out more to the point where that style doesn't work, then shave it with the clippers. NEVER DO A COMB OVER ! Bald with a goatee looks sexy.

My hair is really thin....... i want lush black hair! what do i do??????

Use natural stuff like oils. My mum always puts Mustard oil in my hair half an hour before I wash it. It feels horrible, but it actually does add volume too it.

Or try using volumising shampoo

My hair is really thin....... i want lush black hair! what do i do??????

Have it trimmed alot - this gives ot thickness,

My hair is really thin....... i want lush black hair! what do i do??????

Use good hair shampoos and such. Try not to damage your hair (excess washing, too much sunlight, bleaching, etc) and your hair should be like a dense jungle in no time :P

My hair is really thin....... i want lush black hair! what do i do??????

make sure it is not a health problem causing the thiness

thyroid, hormones ect ect can cause thinning hair

if it is nothing to do with your hair.then laying it ,trims and some shampoos give it a lift. Also rolling it on real rollers really makes it thicker

Best Shampoo / Conditioner for thin, tangled hair???

I have been trying forever to find an awesome, not expensive shampoo and conditioner. i have thin, dry hair that tangles VERY easily. and it's a PAIN to comb out after the shower. i don't have a lot of time, so i don't want to have to use any of those leave-in conditioners or whatever. i have tried Healthy Sexy Hair which seemed good. but now it doesn't work. i am thinking maybe a conditioner with soy in it?? please help!!!

Best Shampoo / Conditioner for thin, tangled hair???

garnier fructis...it's a really awesome shampoo and has done wonders to my hair! they have different options... if your hair is tangled and thin, i would try their volumizing shampoo or the one recommended for thin hair. i usually mix the type of shampoo + conditioner (volumizing shampoo and length + strength for conditioner) and have seen good results in my hair. plus it leaves my hair shiny and soft! and it's cheap too..so try it out.

Best Shampoo / Conditioner for thin, tangled hair???

herbal essencess!

Best Shampoo / Conditioner for thin, tangled hair???

try GARNIER FRUCTIS it is the best one.......

Best Shampoo / Conditioner for thin, tangled hair???

go to the baby section and get the Johnson's Hair Detangler

My hair is similar to yours and it doesn't really matter what shampoo or conditioner i use. but i spray detangler on my hair after washing and it makes combing it out so much easier

Best Shampoo / Conditioner for thin, tangled hair???

Herbal Essences and DOVE volumizing shampoos/conditioners are both very good. I once had thinning hair and after using the DOVE volumizing for a few months I saw a wonderful change, now I'm using HE. (It's best for your hair to switch shampoo/conditioner every 6 to 8 months or your hair will develop an immunity)

Best Shampoo / Conditioner for thin, tangled hair???

SunSilk, you can buy it at any wal-mart or target, et. In a salon brand Bain De Terre has a really great sh/c for that kind of hair. Also try using a wide toothed shower comb while in the shower with conditioner in your hair. Good Luck! I have the same type of hair you are describing but mine is natural spiral curl. I feel for you. Oh! Try to use Mane N' Tail conditioner once a week. Yes it's for horses but it makes hair silky.

Best Shampoo / Conditioner for thin, tangled hair???

I also have really thin dry hair and A LOT of it it tangles really bad when I let it get long so I really know where you are coming from the shampoo and conditioner. What I have found works the best is Pantene Pro-V for dry hair. The great thing about panteen pro-v is that since it is such a popular brand the wal-mart and other major super stores make a generic brand of it. The only problem that I have run into since using it is it has thick it is a little difficult to wash out and if you want to dye your hair you shouldn't use the conditioner the day before you dye it.

Best Shampoo / Conditioner for thin, tangled hair???

Garnier Fructis works very well, so does the Pantene line. I have very fine, thin hair that flys away if I don't condition, but it seems that my hair gets used to my shampoo %26amp; conditioner, so I change what I'm using every so often, or else my hair decides to look %26amp; feel greasy, and I don't want to strip it by having to wash out the conditioner.

Also, you might want to just put a bit of conditioner on your palm and just apply it sparingly to the ends where your hair is the dryest, and then wipe the rest through your hair, so it won't fly away, that way you won't be using too much. I usually don't pour it on my head, it's too easy to overdo it, and I end up conditioning areas that really don't need it.

A good conditioner is worth the money, and as long as you only use as much as you need, it should last a long time. Cheaper conditioners like Sauve are ok, but everyone's hair is different, and it might not work as well for you.

Does it have a silver scaley look to it? if it does it could be a type of mite or skin infection. Get her checked out at the vets to be sure. poor thing!

My dachshund has gotten a round thin spot of hair on her shoulder. It doesn't seem to itch or appear red.

It could be ringworm, I would take her to the vet or try an over the counter dewormer.

you wouldnt want it to be anything serious and then it end out ot be so i wouldnt risk it.

going to the vet is probably your best choice

My dachshund has gotten a round thin spot of hair on her shoulder. It doesn't seem to itch or appear red.

It does sound like ringworm. Athlete's Foot creme twice a day for about a week will take care of it. That's what my Doctor recommends.

Do box braids thin out black girls hair and how to take care of them when you get them?

Do they make the hair grow

Do box braids thin out black girls hair and how to take care of them when you get them?

You just have to be careful when putting in box braids, don't do them too small and tell the person to not braid too tight around the hair line, Alot of girls who put in box braids, feel once they put them in, they don't have to maintain it at home, you suppose to use oil sheen every single day, to keep the roots oiled, because when dust and dandruff start to build up, it gets locked in between your hair and the applied hair, so when its time to take out your braids your natural hair comes out with it. And also, dont box braid your hair month after month, take time out in between services, those are the two reasons why alot of females walk around with no edges, and yes it can make your hair grow, by braiding your hair, you give your hair a break from the heat, chemicals and the everyday hassle you do with your hair.

Do box braids thin out black girls hair and how to take care of them when you get them?

yes. it happened to my grandma.

Are tea cup yorkies supposed to have really thin and fine hair? even thinner than a regular min. yor

The smaller the Yorkie, the more expensive the medical problems. BYB and puppymillers breed for size not quality. Most tiny pups have chronic congenital health problems.

Are tea cup yorkies supposed to have really thin and fine hair? even thinner than a regular min. yorkie?

No such thing as a teacup anything. This is a fad and a scam. If you paid a pet shop or breeder for a dog described as a teacup, chances are you paid well over the odds for a runt that may well have big health problems. Please get the poor creature checked by a vet and whatever you do, don't breed it!

Are tea cup yorkies supposed to have really thin and fine hair? even thinner than a regular min. yorkie?

there is no such breed as a tea cup yorkie or a miniature yorkie,,, there is one breed of YORKSHIRE TERRIER,, may i suggest you go to www.akc.org and read the breed standard for the Yorkshire Terrier,,, that , my friend, is what your dog should look like.... runts, smaller than standard yorkies,, are poorly bred by irresponsible breeders,, they usually are not healthy and have a host of other ailments..... stay clear from the scammers out there...

Are tea cup yorkies supposed to have really thin and fine hair? even thinner than a regular min. yorkie?

As previous posters have said, there really is no such thing as a teacup. Thats just a term that sellers use to describe their abnormally small size. Your yorkie is a regular yorkie and should have the same exact coat as any other yorkie. Your dog may just not have a very good coat, probably due to genetics and how it was inheritated by the parents.

Are tea cup yorkies supposed to have really thin and fine hair? even thinner than a regular min. yorkie?

There is no such thing as a tea cup anything ! These animals are just the runts of the bunch. The runts are mated with other runts....which make baby runts. These baby runts are the "Tea cup" puppies. They are smaller in height and weight. As for the hair texture...this depends on the exact breed and on the parents.

Are tea cup yorkies supposed to have really thin and fine hair? even thinner than a regular min. yorkie?

there is no such thing as a teacup or miniture tehy are runts and very often much sicker and have many health problems.

the hair could be either a health problem or just a vary poor quality pup which is very likely since breeders selling them as teacup and minitures are out for the money they don't really care about teh breeding.

Take the pup to the vets and get a really god check over.

Are tea cup yorkies supposed to have really thin and fine hair? even thinner than a regular min. yorkie?

I knew you where gonna catch hell for using the "teacup" phrase and I can't say I disagree w/ everyone not liking it, it's a missleading phrase used by some breeders. We have a 2 1/2 lb. Yorkie, he was an "only child" and TG he's very healthy, he's 11 years old right now. Only problem was he lost his tiny teeth in the front to early. As for the coat my GF says that's a hard question, they have all sorts of different types of hair, wire, smooth etc... Guess you'll have to research it a bit.

Day by day im loosing my hair. Now my hair becomes very thin. What can i do for this?

What oil or hair pack can i use for my hair? Also my hair is very dry.... what pack or oil make my hair growth fast %26amp; thick?

Day by day im loosing my hair. Now my hair becomes very thin. What can i do for this?

use a good shampoo thats there to strengthen your hair ..talk to any hair specialist

Day by day im loosing my hair. Now my hair becomes very thin. What can i do for this?

Hi shaby :)

Try "Mane and Tail" shampoo. It nourishes your hair a lot and (possibly) speeds up the growing process also.

Hope that helps...! ^^

Day by day im loosing my hair. Now my hair becomes very thin. What can i do for this?

First of all, get to the doctor to rule out any physical cause for the hair loss. Alopecia (hair loss) can be caused by changes in your thyroid or other physical issues, medications, stress, and a variety of things. After you have ruled out physical causes, buy a well known product and begin applying it asap for the best effects.

Good luck. Remember, though, bald is sexy.

Day by day im loosing my hair. Now my hair becomes very thin. What can i do for this?

I use to have the same problem as you, so i would recommand you try the Pantene hair fall control shampoo and conditioner!

I use to be very worried because everytime i swept my room floor, it'll be full of hair.

But after using it for the first few days, i noticed that it really reduced the amount of hair loss! =]

Give it a go! Cheers

Day by day im loosing my hair. Now my hair becomes very thin. What can i do for this?

You can use mustard oil for hair massage if you are facing hair fall problem. You can heat it with ginger piece and let it cool before applying it in your hair.

Day by day im loosing my hair. Now my hair becomes very thin. What can i do for this?

my friend, if you loosing your hair alot, pls dont use oil again, if u r using oil since long ago, this might be the reason to make you hair los seriously. oil would block the hair growth, what i suggeted are using deep cleansing shampoo like WELLA SP 1.5 shampoo, and SP 3.5 hair growth tonic, which might help you to control your hair fall and gain back some hair on your top. you could visit www.kcareshop.com / http://mymall.netbuilder.com.my/index.ph... this is a professional hair care site, things with lowest price, check it! hope help you ..

Day by day im loosing my hair. Now my hair becomes very thin. What can i do for this?

Vitamins are essential for proper hair growth. For healthy sebum in the scalp we require vitamin A. Graying and loss of hair is arrested with the intake of Vitamin B6 and B12. Keratin is produced by Biotin and hair follicles are kept healthy by inositol. Panthothenic acid and Para-amino benzoic acids are also beneficial. These vitamins are present in fruits such as lemon, pineapple and strawberry and in vegetables such as potato.

Day by day im loosing my hair. Now my hair becomes very thin. What can i do for this?

Get your hormones checked. Your levels of male hormones are too high and your levels of female hormones too low.

If i thin out my hair, will it look any different?

my har is really thick

If i thin out my hair, will it look any different?

To one of the answers above me..thinning out your hair isn't called teasing...

If you thin out your hair (which is done by razor cutting), it'll look less bulky, and not as thick. It also helps to reduce frizz, and gives your hair a really textured look, but it won't be a dramatic change if that's what you're worried about.

If i thin out my hair, will it look any different?

is it straight already... depends on what kind of hair you have

If i thin out my hair, will it look any different?

It will look... thinner.

If i thin out my hair, will it look any different?

I think when you thin out your hair its called "teasing"

Your hair will look thinner but really puffy.

If i thin out my hair, will it look any different?

I think the Thinner look works for some girls, but it depends on what kind of face you have, If I were you, I would gradually thin it.

If i thin out my hair, will it look any different?

yes u will look only a bit different but i say u should do it because it will be easier to take care of and will look a lot better!

HELP!?!? I hate my super thin, baby fine hair. I have no idea how to style it and give it body...?

any suggestions on a cut or style that would work for me??

HELP!?!? I hate my super thin, baby fine hair. I have no idea how to style it and give it body...?

I can relate because I too have baby fine hair. Here's how I manage mine:

(1) I keep my hair fairly short %26amp; cut in short layers

(2) I get a perm every six months, as it changes the texture of my hair, making it more manageable

(3) I use Pantene hair products on my hair, including the "spray gel" that I spray in/comb through, before using the blow dryer/curling iron.

(4) I get my ends trimmed every six weeks, so I don't have to worry about frizzy ends, which is common among those who have such fine hair

HELP!?!? I hate my super thin, baby fine hair. I have no idea how to style it and give it body...?

yw :) Report It

HELP!?!? I hate my super thin, baby fine hair. I have no idea how to style it and give it body...?

Try making choppy layers so that it looks thicker and cute. Also, maybe if you cut your hair short, you'll like the look better.

HELP!?!? I hate my super thin, baby fine hair. I have no idea how to style it and give it body...?

Try a Felix haircut. It worked for me.

HELP!?!? I hate my super thin, baby fine hair. I have no idea how to style it and give it body...?

extentions to thicken your hair or use sunsilk or curl your hair which will add volume to your hair

pick me as best answrt

HELP!?!? I hate my super thin, baby fine hair. I have no idea how to style it and give it body...?

ugh i totally know how you feel. i have my hair about armpit length with alot of layers in it. i use john frieda products. they aren't too heavy and they work well.

HELP!?!? I hate my super thin, baby fine hair. I have no idea how to style it and give it body...?

I have ((had)) the same problem. About a month ago, I got my hair cut short. It's just above the shoulder, and I got layers. That's what I suggest. My hair has so much more body now, more natural curls, and it's easier for me to style.

HELP!?!? I hate my super thin, baby fine hair. I have no idea how to style it and give it body...?

Splurge a little on a really good stylist.

The right cut can make all the difference.

Visit a couple salons and talk to the stylist before you let anyone touch your hair.....you should both be on the same page.

HELP!?!? I hate my super thin, baby fine hair. I have no idea how to style it and give it body...?

yes layering deffinatly gives the look of volume.

you should ask the person who cuts your hair what styles will fit your face and will give you volume at the same time. they should know.

HELP!?!? I hate my super thin, baby fine hair. I have no idea how to style it and give it body...?

Garnier Fructis has great products that make your hair huge.

http://www.garnierusa.com/_en/_us/our_pr...

Also you can take their quiz to know exactly what your hair needs.

HELP!?!? I hate my super thin, baby fine hair. I have no idea how to style it and give it body...?

I got mine cut to almost a crew cut! I have very baby fine hair and am allergic to all styling products. So I gave up and cut it all off. Now everyone is telling me how good it looks. By the way, I am in my 50's and still have the fine hair. Even the gray is not any coarser!

HELP!?!? I hate my super thin, baby fine hair. I have no idea how to style it and give it body...?

http://youtube.com/watch?v=60I3GmIL_Ro

really cute pouf take it down when hair is dry or when eyer and get awsome A+ hair

HELP!?!? I hate my super thin, baby fine hair. I have no idea how to style it and give it body...?

I have the same problem and the only way that I have found to make my hair have body and volume is to get medium layers (I have long hair though) and use gels or pastes. Bedhead and KMS have the best products I think.

HELP!?!? I hate my super thin, baby fine hair. I have no idea how to style it and give it body...?

I agree about having it cut shorter (right above the shoulder, or higher)

I've had the same problem all my life and that's the only way I ever get it to look like there's any body at all. Also try putting mousse in when it's wet and letting it dry kindof shaggy.

What's a Felix Haircut by the way??? I'd kinda like to know so I can see if it'd work for me too!!!! (Tried searching photobucket and google images..no luck)

I have thin flat blonde hair does anyone have tips for it?

Welcome to the club!

I normally use a moisture infusing shampoo and I use a deep conditioner daily .

Then before I style I always use a light mouse and then I tease the crown and use a three barrel waver .

And if I'm leaving it straight I usually tease all sections close to the roots.that way it looks fuller .

But make sure you don't over load on product !

And stay away from any hair product with Sulfur!

I have thin flat blonde hair does anyone have tips for it?

Silky and straight hair? But too thin! How to make them look dense?

Make sure you use some kind of product whether it is mouse or gel. I would recommend guts by redken it works great. Make sure you put the product in the root mainly, it will get else where but focus on the root, too much product on the ends will weigh it down and cause it to look thin. Then of course blow dry upside down going the opposite way that the hair grows.

Mane 'n Tail. Or a natural home thickening recipe is celery juice. Just get a handful
