I wouldn't wear the wig, i would color it, but get a color that isn't permanent, that way if you don't like it, it won't last too long. Good luck!

i advice u to drop all the hair dye crap. dont use any chemicals on it it will only make it worse. i advice u to use natural hair products to dye it such as henna. henna comes in 2 colors. red and blak. if u mixed both colors togeda it will b brown. beware of false henna. sometimes merchants add some chemicals and lowers the amount of the natural product cuz its cheaper to him . so b sure to buy it from a hair salon that u trust.

There's not much you can do without the help of dye...just maybe get lots of sun on it. Some lemon juice and go out into the sun, but it'll still get frizzy because it'll be dry.

The best thing you can do is get it colored by a professional, but make sure they use a high-lift tint NOT bleach!! That should get it blind without too much damage.

In my experience as a stylist, I'm guessing what you are calling medium length is between shoulder and bra strap length hair. I suggest blunting off the ends, cut in face framing layers with light texture %26lt;razor works great for this%26gt; root lifting styling products and a LARGE hot air brush for styling it out from "barely damp" to dry.

Most importantly, get some color work done. You will be amazed by how deepening your base color and adding a few highlights in the top can make your hair look thicker and fuller all over.

Well you should start with your diet. Make sure you're eating healthy and keep up on your nutrients. Especially protein, and Vitamin E. Avoid heat damage from flat irons and blow dryers (so try to let your hair air dry as much as you can). Sometimes thin hair is hereditary, and there's really not much you can do, so don't get so worried about something like this unless you're losing hairs.

There is also a brand called RPR and thats called Pump Up My Volume.

Also Garnier Fructis Style XXL Volume Thickening Mousse.

This brush is really good its called Ebony by Brushworx Boar Bristle Brush.

Also i can tell you how to apply mousse you (it works better when you dampen your hair)

apply it at the roots and down-keep heavy products away from ends

I have very fine thick hair. I use a shampoo and conditioner made to add volume. I then brush it out and dry it in sections starting with the front with a roller brush to add more volume at my roots. I then spray with a light hairspray at the roots and use the dryer to set. I then brush it out and it looks great and doesn't tend to fall flat.

Perhaps a shampoo %26amp; conditioner containing moisture in it. I have thin hair too and had a big problem last winter with static. It got so annoying! Especially when it was windy out. Also, if you dry your hair, try to keep the heat minimal because I've heard that a lot of heat directed on your hair can cause static as well as heat in your house when you turn that on if it is cold out. So perhaps cut back on the heat when you are taking a shower and go to dry your hair and that might be able to help you.

I went to the hair salon last April (it was still in the 40s during the day) and they suggested I use Pureology Hydrate System. Which is hydrating shampoo and conditioner. It gives bounce to thin hair and does not give off static. You can find this product in hair salons and ranges about $10-20. It helps your hair grow as well and when I came back to the salon, my hairdresser, as well as everyone else, said that my hair looked its best compared to other years when it was dry from coloring, heat, etc. It was because I switched to Pureology and I will say, the static is minimal compared to the static I had when I used Pantene Pro-V. I barely have static now and it is in the high 30s, low 40s outside %26amp; windy.

I highly suggest trying some of these techniques and getting this shampoo (the purple bottle one because they have several different types of shampoo for different types of hair). Basically, you get what you pay for with this product and I have not used anything else since I have started using this! Good luck! :)

I think I can help you, try what I do. And I will ad that I am a Master Stylist and Colourist with my own salon. Every second wash, only use conditioner. And you may want to also try a clarifying shampoo once a week in case you have a product build-up on your hair. I think your hair is probably just very dry. So use Moisturizing shampoo and a leave-in combination conditioner, with a once or twice a week re constructor (the thicker the better), and I always recommend a split end mender in a creme. The best hair cut for u is go for a layer cut but make it long layers and for the frame part in the front , ask the salon person to start the frame right from the bottom of your chin.

you can then wear your hair in a pony tail or just leave it freely . Thin hairs are supposed to be let freely as a little stress too on the hair is not good!

well of course the first thang you need to do is get a volumizing shampoo and conditioner and make sure when you condition your hair to put the conditioner in your hair to use a wide tooth comb and comb the con. through your hair. it makes it super smooth and help to detangle (just make sure you dont squeeze the excess water out before you apply the con). and dont try to scrub your hair dry with a towel...to help with volume after you comb your hair out flip your hair over upside down and twist it up (gently) and use a hair claw to pin it on top of your head. after you get dressed let your hair fall free and you should have some amazing body!

My Mother-in-Law also lost all of her hair after Chemo. When it came back it was very brittle and very thin. Now 4 years later, it's as thick and healthy as it was before. She said she used(and this is so not like her, nothing usually makes her happier than saving money) some rather expensive shampoo and conditioner she bought at a Salon for that hair type(dry, thin, and brittle). So, try a local Salon and ask them what they recommend.

Hair growth treatments will not work,for hair that has fallen out due to Chemotherapy treatments,because it is the Radiation,that takes the hair out. The best thing to do is to buy a "human hair" wig,that is close to the length and color of the natual hair you had. What are you doing to make it thicker. There are many things that could be happening. You could have low nutrition and your body is suffering from it and taking it out on your hair or you have high nutrition and you just started getting the nutrition you need. If that is the case then it will grow back to be thicker then it ever was before. However if you have low nutrition then I suggest eating fruits and veggies. There is a multi-vitamin pill that my hair dresser had me take to thicken up my hair, it is called hair, skin, and nails. they sell it at wal-mart. it smells like dog food but after a while you get used to the smell. for the first week or so or taking it you might get sleepy. that is because your body isn't used to having so much good stuff being put into it. you could also be over processing it which means that you have dyed it and fried with blow dyers, straighteners, etc. if that is the cause lay off that stuff and just put your hair up. take your hair down when you go to sleep though so it can breathe. yeah your hair needs to breathe too.

alrighty first off coloring your hair is damaging including if you highlight it and deposit color back to a deeper brown. In your case I highly suggest PRODUCT.

The following help to rebuild your hair:

Paul Mitchell: Supper Strong (rebuilds damaged hair).

Paul Mitchell: Heat seal (seals hair and protects from heat)

Paul Mitchell: Supper Skinny (leave in light conditioner)

Use those three in combination, and give it about 1 month to see some difference in hair condition. It is important though that if color is not holding go to a professional we know what we are doing and can analyze the hair.

To help smooth I suggest getting for sleek, skinny, smooth- use a ceramic iron- and make sure it is professional products to assure getting the sleek and rebuilding of your damaged hair.

I can relate because I too have baby fine hair. Here's how I manage mine:

(1) I keep my hair fairly short %26amp; cut in short layers

(2) I get a perm every six months, as it changes the texture of my hair, making it more manageable

I have the same problem and the only way that I have found to make my hair have body and volume is to get medium layers (I have long hair though) and use gels or pastes. Bedhead and KMS have the best products I think.

I'm a hairdresser and my bf has the same problem with his hair. Make sure you never brush your hair when it's wet, comb it lightly... Brushing it when it's wet makes it more likely to break. if you ever wear it up don't wear it tight. well hair goes through phases... Anagen phase which is the Growth phase... Catagen which is the Transition phase which is the end of hair growth...and the Telogen phase which is the restiong phase which last for 3 to 6 months... then it starts over... depending on the phase your hair is going through determines the methods you should use. During anagen phase just keep your hair clean by shampooing it and brushing it because hair has natural oils which brings oils to the ends of the hair. in any case drink lots of water which gives you health hair and skin. During catagen phase make sure to keep hair shampoo and scalp and hair conditioned well use both a rinse and leave in conditioner, and with the rinse out conditioner rinse with cool water to close the cuticles of the hair and root. and during the telogen phase same as catagen phase. And stay away from weaves such as glue in tracks, micros, and real tight braids... you can though get sew ins and large individual braids.

try and get some layers in your hair if you dont already have some.

you can try bending your head over and spray the underside of your hair with hairspray. then scrunch up your hair while its still a bit wet.

then flick your head back and tease it. do this to your whole head and finish with hairspray.

it will look a bit messy with the teasing but if you do little by little i guess you can achieve a neat volumising head.

my natural hair is really wavy and limp, it always looks scraggly, so this is what i do to add some volume to it. i started using herbal essences body envy conditioner, which has worked pretty well for me and smells pretty good. i start at the root of my hair when i'm blow drying, and lift it up as i dry with the round brush. drying your head upside down just blows your hair all over the place but if you use a brush it won't have so many fly-aways. i also don't use much hair products, on a humid day i'll spray a little hair spray onto a natural bristle brush and lightly brush over it. it also helps the fly-away or broken hairs stay down. after awhile it still seems to go flat, but this is the best method i found for getting my hair straight with body

Use Straight Sexy Hair Shampoo and conditioner. It can be found at salons. I usually wash my hair, apply an extremely generous amount of conditioner and then get out of the shower and wrap a towel aound my head without rinsing the conditioner out. I usually leave it in for about an hour to 2 hours. Then I rinse it out and its lovely. I do this once a week. Also before doing anything else.. right when you get in the shower, shampoo and condition FIRST and leave the conditioner in for the duration of your shower. Then rinse when you are ready to get out! There's only one thing to do, when you go to your hairdresser, ask them to thin your hair out for you. Some good hairdressers will do this for you anyway if they think your hair is too thick! I have a GHD Hair Straightener and if I use top quality shampoos and conditioners and then straighten, I don't have to apply any further product - the heat from the straightener and the oils from the s %26amp; c do it all for you. To straighten thick hair however, you have to be a bit patient - do sections at a time, so tie up your hair and face it towards your face until you've straightened the back section of your hair, then let sections down at a time until you're happy with the quality of the look.

Go to a salon and have the stylist cut your hair with blending/thinning shears. It won't change the length; it will only eliminate the excess thickness. You'll need to have this done about once a month. When done properly by a professional stylist, it will turn out fine and won't be unmanageable.

You could also try layers, although the stylist may still use the thinning or blending shears.

Or you could invest in a flatiron which helps some people with excess thickness because it presses the hair flat using extreme heat. Be careful with using one of these because they can really wreak havoc on your hair if you're not careful.
