Scene hair for not super-thin girl?

I'm not like all the other extremely tiny/skinny girls who have scene hair. Would short, choppy scene hair still look okay?

its nice to have short, choppy top layer, but there should be a much longer layer below it for it to look okay. If you don't have long hair then get glue in extensions..

[just from personal taste the top layer looks better if it is much lighter than the bottom layer, unless they are both of the same color]

try to stay away from very vibrant neon colors unless you plan on doing 60-85 percent of your hair that color.. because if not you will end up looking like an emo kid.
