My hair is pretty fine but it sounds like yours is more fine than mine. I have used all of those volumizing shampoos/conditioners and none of them worked! But this one totally did. For my hair it gave it a little too much volume and I use a different pureology now. It smells so good and it will work. Get a body perm twice a year...done with big rollers. Prell Shampoo gives great lather and shine, very little conditioner. 1 tsp should do it. Freeze and Shine by Paul Somebody (Mason, I think) gives great shine (buy it at JC Penney's Hail Salon or Sears Hair Salon). My hair is very fine and everyone thinks I have thick hair. It is what I use.

I rarely if ever use a blow dryer...Use a Mouse in between washings for volume.
